Many people today are bemused by the events of the first Easter and they are in good company. When we read Luke’s account of that incredible morning over 2000 years ago we see that even those closest to Jesus are confused by the empty tomb. When was the last time you invited someone to church? Lent (the forty days before Easter) has traditionally been a time for Christians to examine themselves and remember our need for Jesus to save us from our sin and its consequences.
